365 days of love

Ladies, Valentines day comes around one day out of the year on the shortest month of the year. Now, what I don't understand is the actual purpose for this "holiday".  If  I show you love 365 days out of the year, why do you need one day to feel so special. What I also don't understand is when we do celebrate this unnecessary "holiday", why do women think it's just about them? Please enlighten me with your thoughts.

  1. I am not a fan of Valentines Day. I saw countless posts of people on Facebook showing the gifts they received which included flowers, dinner, engagement rings and marriage. I think its cliche to get engaged or married on Valentines Day. Wake up ladies, it doesnt take much planning to pop the question that day. If you decide to get married that day, you just cheated yourself out of another gift. PS. Im no hater :)

  2. Valentine's day is one of those days that I really look forward to. I agree I show you the love I should any other time. She just likes to feel special and wanted and all thr mushyness that applies. It's definitely a nice day to show that one you care about a little some necessary attention.

  3. I consider Valentines Day to be for the ladies simply because men usually don't like to be pampered or show affection. I think you should take Valentines Day as serious as the girl wants to take it. If she really likes Valentines Day you should show your appreciation on Valentines Day to satisfy her.

  4. Valentines Day is a pain. It could be very annoying especially when you "show love" everyday. However, its only once a year I think everybody should participate especially if you have a lover.

  5. I agree with you, that you should show a person how you feel 365. But it is a special day set aside specifically for this reason. Sometimes we get caught up in other things and this day is specifically for reminding the people around you that you do love them. Do a little something extra. And for the most part it is for the ladies. They want to be romanced, but I would not be against showing my man some love too.

  6. I personally think a man should pay for the bill. I think on man shows no power when he expects a woman to pay and I'm sure men don't want that to be the first impression they leave.
