Who pays
Ladies, when you go out with a man for the first time, who do you think should pay for the outing? should the male pay simply because he's the guy, or should the female pay. Most females would say they think the male should pay for the outing. Well I think we should go "Dutch" (Dutch- you pay for your portion of the bill and I pay for mine). But who cares what I think, what do you think. Let me know.

I think whomever initiated the date should pay. If it is understood from the beginning, there is no room left for both of you to stare at the check at the end of the night.
ReplyDeleteI think chilvary is so important, and many guys now lose sight of that. Women make themselves so accessible to men without the guy actually having to make any effort at all. If you ask a girl out on a date, you should pay. Point blank. It is very rude to offer to take someone out and not pay for their meal. As a man, you should take pride in being able to provide for a female, especially if you are the one who initiated the entire thing. Imagine that a job offered you an interview at a restaurant, and told you that you had to pay for yourself? Your impression of the company would be different. However, if it was established that it was just a mutual meeting everyone should pay for themselves. First impressions mean alot. Thats my opinion.
ReplyDeleteI do believe that the guy should pay for the date unless the female initiates the date. For the first date, its ultimately the guys responsibility to pay for the bill, anytime after it can go either way. Also there is no problem with taking turns but if the guy insists to pay every time, hey he can go right ahead.
